Brandon Brown

Portrait of a man in a dress shirt and black jacket standing against a brick wall.

Brandon Brown stepped away from a budding career in TV and media production to become a registered nurse through the MSN Entry into Nursing program.

Ultimately, his goal is to become a nurse practitioner because he saw the leadership and autonomy that career path brought his mother. Then there was his fascination with mental health issues and perhaps mixing nursing with TV and media “to educate and uplift.” A psychiatric NP approach would fit that bill.

“I figured if I was going to do nursing, I was going to do it right,” he says. So he began his nursing career with the MSN Entry into Nursing program at Johns Hopkins.
